Run in collaboration with ASPA (Australian School of Performing Arts), this program is taught in class groups and allows primary students of all abilities to find their voice.
Designed for schools wishing to establish or increase a choir program in their school, this program runs over 20 weeks aimed at Year 4-6 students, beginning in mid-March and concluding with a performance evening ‘Exhibition’ in early September.
Content includes a diverse repertoire including traditional and contemporary songs. In addition to singing, our classes include movement and choreography and fun games with a teamwork focus. Students will learn performance skills, develop confidence and practise teamwork in an encouraging environment.
Entry to this program is by application and requires a co-contribution from schools. Interested schools should contact the CAPTIVATE team for more information and availability.
